About Sage
I strive to live an embodied life full of intention, ritual, nature, community, love, and laughter. I am guided by the values of curiosity and compassion in this work and in life. I am deeply joyful and passionate about this work and view the relationship and space we co-create as sacred.
My happy places are tide pools, bluff walks, and time in the redwoods with my dogs. I decompress with mindfulness practice, strength training, horrible reality TV, plant caretaking, and tea in its many varieties.
Experience
I am a licensed clinical social worker who completed my undergraduate degree in Feminist Studies at UC Santa Cruz and earned my master’s in Social Work from the University of Denver.
My career began in sex education in 2012, where I discovered a passion for supporting others in their journeys toward self-understanding and empowerment. This work inspired me to expand into mental health, where I have since trained extensively in trauma-informed modalities, including somatic therapy, EMDR, and Internal Family Systems (IFS).
I hold certifications in Integrative Somatic Trauma and Somatic EMDR through the Embody Lab. These approaches allow me to offer compassionate, body-centered care that honors the wisdom of your lived experience.
