Let’s Connect!

Hi, I'm Sage. I'm a licensed somatic therapist and EMDR specialist working with adults across California who are navigating OCD, trauma, anxiety, and grief. A lot of people who find their way here have already spent significant time in therapy. They understand themselves well. They're still stuck. My approach goes beyond insight and into the body, where a lot of what keeps people stuck actually lives. I work with warmth, directness, and genuine investment in what we're building together.

Are you struggling with?

Trauma

Trauma can show up in so many ways: feeling stuck in survival mode, coping in ways that feel numbing, or feeling ruled by reactivity. Trauma does not need to mean a life sentence of suffering. With the right support, it is possible to develop a different relationship with what happened, expand what feels possible, and move more from your values and less from survival.

Grief

Grief can take many shapes, whether you're moving through a big life transition, dealing with complicated relationships, facing sudden or expected loss, or supporting someone through illness or end-of-life. You deserve not only a space to tend to your grief, but a compassionate presence as you navigate your grief journey.

Chronic Conditions and/or Disability

Whether you're navigating complex medical systems, coping with chronic pain, or exploring your relationship to yourself and others while processing disability as part of your identity, you deserve to be seen and supported in a way that honors your experience.

Anxiety

Whether you're navigating moments of panic, feeling uneasy, struggling with physical symptoms, or finding it hard to quiet persistent thoughts, anxiety isn't something we can simply reason away. Together, we'll explore what your anxiety is responding to and build your capacity to be with it, move with it, and let it inform rather than run you.

Mood Disorders

Mood disorders or struggles with emotional regulation can bring intense shifts in emotions, leaving you feeling overwhelmed, flat, or stuck in cycles of highs and lows. Perhaps you feel stuck in patterns of reactivity or struggling to feel understood by others. Therapy offers a compassionate space to understand your mood patterns and develop tools for greater stability and well-being.

OCD

OCD can look very different from person to person. Whether you're caught in loops of intrusive thoughts, compulsive behaviors, or the exhausting cycle of doubt and reassurance-seeking, you don't have to keep white-knuckling your way through it. There are effective, evidence-based approaches that can help you step out of the OCD cycle and back into your life.

But no one heals what they refuse to look at. So when asked if they think you’re a good person, I say, I don’t believe in good people. I believe in people who are committed to knowing their own wounds intimately

Have you been around the therapy block, but are still feeling stuck?

Talk therapy can take you a long way. What it often can't do is reach the patterns that live below the level of thought, in the body, in the nervous system, in the ways we've learned to move through the world based on what it has asked of us.

If thoughts are the language of the mind, sensation is the language of the body. Bridging that gap isn't just about self-awareness. It's about expanding what's possible, in relationship with yourself and with others, because that's where most of what we're working on actually plays out.

Sometimes what the body needs isn't regulation or calm. It needs to be heard. And it needs to be heard in the presence of another person, which is part of what we're building together.

Our lived experience, our pain, our joy, and our liberation all reside in our physical selves. By reconnecting with your body, you access pathways that thinking alone can't open. And sometimes, what the body needs isn't regulation or calm. It needs to be heard.

In our work together, we'll use body-based tools and nervous system education to help you develop a different relationship with your own experience, one with more range, more choice, and more room for connection.
